Through his many years of experience, Dr. DeVille has treated thousands of patients with conditions varying from postural neck pain to complex neurological disorders, using his successful framework for correcting dysfunction.
Dr. DeVille has treated all types of conditions and patients including professional athletes, weekend warriors, injured office workers, pregnant women, children in sports, as well as those injured in motor vehicle accidents. The Volo Move + Align clinic was opened to offer the type of treatment he would want to have from everyday ailments to complex pain patterns.
Dr. DeVille has developed treatment plans that produce better outcomes by identifying and treating the root cause of dysfunction, which leads to a faster recovery and a more long term solution. The key to healing patients is listening to all their concerns and determining what the actual problem is through a more comprehensive health analysis.
For example, a patient may desire treatment to address their lower back pain. However, pain in the lower back can originate in the lower extremities, such as the hip, knee, ankle, or foot by not functioning as it should. This leads to body motion that compensates for the loss of function, which results in lower back pain. Addressing the body as a complete health system is critical to understanding each person’s underlying condition and developing an effective and specific treatment plan.
Dr. DeVille is a certified provider of Active Release Techniques (ART), an effective myofascial release technique developed to break down adhesions that develop in soft tissue. He is also trained in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), a movement-based diagnostic system which identifies the root issue of movement dysfunction patterns allowing him to treat the problem effectively the first time. Dr. DeVille is also clinically certified in Functional Movement Technique (FMT) kinesiology taping by RockTapeTM, which integrates kinesiology taping with functional movement patterns to reinforce passive and active treatment to speed recovery. He is also a certified provider of Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA).
When Dr. DeVille is not healing patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son and daughter. He is an avid everyday athlete and enjoys swimming, running, and being active outside. He is a firm believer in practicing good movement outside of the gym for better health.
